My Shipyard.
Over the garage under the roof there is quite a space

where I built my workshop.
There is a workbench and two tables on which I can spread out the drawings.
Besides these tools there is a lathe, a grindstone, a drill and a saw-bench.
Especially the lathe is a must to have!
And also lots of small electrical tools, of which the Dremel is used most.
There is a small heating element, which in winter does not make the room warmer than 10 Celcius.
The hull of the ship is made of small laths and timber-ribs, after which it is consolidated with resin.
Construction and deck-houses are made of print-plates and are soldered.
For masts and derricks I use messing pipes.
The whole room is brightened up a little with photos relating to the Merchant Navy.
Al in all a nice space for me to spend a couple of hours each day.
